One of the greatest ways that a person can be closer to Allah is to
memorize the holy Qur’an, how come! They are the words of Allah, there are no greater words than the words of Allah, so you got some beneficial information that will help you memorize the holy-Qur’an.
1- Keep Perseveration and Gradation in Memorizing
Sincerity of intention is one of the most important helpful means to memorize the Qur’an because whoever memorizes the Qur’an can realize the eternal message of revelation which was revealed by the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and kept in the thoughts and in the lines.
2- Put a Specific Goal with a Timeline
Determining the amount of memorizing, each person has a limit and a certain amount that cannot increase and determining a constant amount for memorizing it is one of the most important helpful means to continue memorizing and it will make you be patient.
3- Choosing the Suitable Time and Place
Choosing the suitable time and place, whoever wants to memorize the book of Allah, they should stay in a place where they can memorize the Qur’an comfortably, It should not be kept at a time of intense heat or in a place which is full of inconvenience and the best place ever to memorize the Qur’an is in the mosque.
4- Finding a Clever Teacher at Qur’an
The correct pronunciation is to read the Qur’an before memorizing it in front of the specialized men in Qur’an in order to learn from them how to pronounce the correct verses, especially where there is similarity and difficulty in the pronunciation.
5- Read What You Have Memorized in Your Prayer and In Your Night Prayer as well
The person who memorizes Qur’an rises in the degrees of paradise: the person who memorizes Qur’an is being risen in paradise depend on how many verses they have memorized from the book of Allah, and the more their memorization increases the more degrees of the paradise increases.
It is proven about the Prophet – peace be upon him – that he said:
“it is said to the reader of Quran, read, rise and be regular as you were reading in the life, it is your position at the end of the verse which you were reading”
6- Do not forget to pray sincerely
Sometimes fidelity is associated with worship and sometimes with other claims. but in both cases, sincerity was associated with Allah, this is a verse that our prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) tells us:
“say:” i have been commanded that I will worship Allah as his Savior. “[Al-Zumar: 11]

- You are rewarded ten deeds (Hassanat) for memorizing each letter from Qur’an.
- Your only companion to death is the holy Qur’an.
